Objective and solution

Customer suffered from huge amounts of paperwork. The task was to automate warehouse workflows for maximal efficiency. Main objectives were including:

• Centralize warehouses data
• Accounting of product transferring between warehouses
• Reporting
• Forecasting and inventory optimization
• Integration with barcode scanners

Solution:

• Single database with enabled replication for maximal performance of endpoint warehouses
• Web interface was designed to replace the existing desktop application and papers
• Using mathematical optimization and game theory methods automate forecasting and analysis
